Mental health matters but it can be difficult to understand and identify what a condition is, if you have it and how it may affect you.
As a result of growing interest and questions from patients at 96 Harley Street, practice head and clinical lead, psychiatrist Dr Robin Lawrence, has used his extensive knowledge and experience in the field of mental health to create four online questionnaires.
The self-standing questionnaires relate to four very different but significant conditions which are:
Eating disorders or Disorderly eating – Is dieting a repetitive and constant feature of your life?
ADHD + Neurodiversity – Do you find it hard to concentrate?
Cluster B traits – Do you feel “different” from all your friends?
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) – Do you have persistent nightmares?
If the answer to any of the above is yes, the questionnaire would be recommended.
If you wonder, or if it has been suggested that this might apply to you, the next stage would be to fill in the appropriate questionnaire.
Before taking the test, you will need to pay a fee of £75.00 through our secure payment manager and the questionnaire will then be available on screen for you to carry out. Be honest – it’s in your own interest!
The results need to be carefully assessed so will be made available within two working days of completion. We will send them via a secure email portal. The email will also provide guidance on whether or not an assessment may be helpful and summarising what we would suggest as a next step, if the results suggest you might need one.
If you do not fit the criteria, we will also inform you of that.
Please note that this is a screening process, not a formal diagnosis.
If the results suggest you would gain from an assessment and you decide to proceed further, the initial £75.00 will be deducted from an initial consultation fee with Dr Robin Lawrence.
